To
be a celebrant and to write ceremonies, I believe one has to have
had incredible life experiences and "feel" the emotions
that people experience. In my life I have lived the wildest dream
and the worst nightmare. My ceremonies are written from the heart.
To
fall in love is the most powerful emotions known to man. Sometimes
it takes us by surprise and sometimes a friendship develops into
love. When it happens it's a true awakening of the human spirit.
It's unexplainable, all the love songs seem to be personally written,
the poetry makes sense, seeing others in love, even looking at
older people together holding hands - there is a connection there
constantly
... yes, I've been in love and know exactly how
that feels.
Having
had 2 children of my own I'm well aware of that joy that children
can bring. The responsibility and the love we feel makes us wonder
what life was ever like without a child.
Experiencing
grief is also an emotion I'm familiar with. When we lose someone
we love the sense of loss is sometimes overwhelming. Knowing that
emotion, I can put into words the essence of a person's life.
I
have a strong business background.
